2025 McLaren 750S

2025 McLaren 750S Expert Review

Beginning with the incredible 720S platform, the 750S steals improvements from the vicious Senna hypercar and the ferocious 765LT. The 750S’s deadly performance and unexpected approachability are astounding examples of its clever engineering. The mid-engine supercar, which was originally unveiled for 2024, only gets minor upgrades for 2025. Other high-performance vehicles like the Lamborghini Revuelto, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and Ferrari 296 GTB are competitors.

What’s New

  • Track brake upgrade offered with factory color paint as a no-cost option
  • Five new color options: Blade Silver, Namaka Blue, Flux Green II, Viridian, and Lava Grey
  • Stealth Badge pack
  • Orange start/stop button

What We Think

McLaren distinguishes the 750S from the 720S by adding more power and improved refinement. The 750S has some of the best steering, braking, and stability we’ve seen in a contemporary road car, in addition to being incredibly ballistic when launched in a straight line. With its Variable Drift Control model, the 750S offers slidey excitement in addition to being as elegant and articulate on the road or track. With its variable crosslinked suspension outperforming its competitors in terms of plushness, the 750S offers a genuinely comfortable ride when dialled down to Comfort.

While most of the McLaren 750S’ qualities launch it into the ultimate echelon of supercar stardom, we have some minor detractions worthy of note. The standard seats are a bit wide and need more thigh bolstering while the available carbon buckets are a bit too narrow. Cargo storage is nearly nonexistent, and the convertible model doesn’t offer as much visibility as the 750S coupe due to thicker B-pillars.

McLaren has gotten some touches right that make the 750S surprisingly easy to live with on a daily basis, however. We appreciate that the steering wheel adjusts with the instrument cluster binnacle, ensuring drivers of all heights can see the information they need. The front suspension lift, allowing this low-riding supercar to enter steeper driveways, operates more quickly than the one equipped on the 720S. The 2025 McLaren 750S is an astounding car to drive, and these quality of life upgrades make it an even better runabout for its well-to-do buyers.

Performance and MPGs

The 2025 750S is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine from McLaren that produces 740 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. A dual-clutch automatic gearbox with seven speeds transfers power to the back wheels. Based on our test results, the 750S can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 2.7 seconds and complete a quarter mile at 141.1 mph in 10.2 seconds. It just takes 96 feet to stop from 0 to 60 feet. For an automobile with such astounding performance numbers, fuel efficiency isn’t too bad. The 2024 750S is rated by the EPA at 15/19 city/highway mpg.

Safety Ratings and Features

Supercars in this territory don’t typically prioritize driver assistance features, and the 2025 McLaren 750S is no exception. However, the automaker offers some available equipment intended to keep the 750S secure and free of damage. Front and rear parking sensors are standard, and a 360-degree camera is available as an option. The automaker also offers a vehicle lift as a no-cost option, electronically raising the supercar’s front end for access to driveways with steep entrances. There’s also a Volumetric Alarm Upgrade, an option that monitors movement inside the cabin in case a window has been left down.

2025 McLaren 750S Pricing and Availability

The starting price of the 2025 McLaren 750S is $351,240. The America’s Accessories pack, which includes a leather travel bag, luggage straps, a car cover, tire pads to avoid flat spots while the car is parked, a battery tender, titanium valve stem caps, a badge, a license plate frame, USB cables, and a microfiber cloth, is included with models that are sold in the United States. Starting at around $20,000 more than the coupe, the McLaren 750S Spider is expected to be more expensive. The 2025 McLaren 750S is currently on the market.
