2025 Lamborghini Revuelto

Overview

It’s unusual to see a hybrid that reverses the trend in a time when automakers are using electrification to reduce displacement and cylinder counts. The 2025 Lamborghini Revuelto maintains its recognisable mid-mounted V-12 engine while using three electric motors to provide an incredible 1001 horsepower. The Revuelto is a plug-in hybrid, so instead of using those additional electrons to increase efficiency, it uses them for performance. Because of this, you can accelerate quickly without losing the wonderful sounds of the engine and exhaust, but the fuel efficiency is nearly as bad as that of the 769-hp Aventador it replaces. However, we doubt that fuel expenses are a major worry if you have $600,000 to spend on a car.

New for 2025

The Lamborghini Revuelto enters its sophomore year with no changes.

The cost and the best option to purchase

The price of the 2025 Lamborghini Revuelto is expected to start around $609,000.The Revuelto is more expensive than the typical American house, and that’s only the beginning. Exclusivity is practically a given. Carbon fibre upgrades can cost nearly $100,000, and certain paint options can cost an additional $15,000. However, we would advise spending an additional $10,000 or so on the various safety measures, particularly the surround-view cameras.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

In terms of performance, this bull is no ballerina. Naturally aspirated, the mid-mounted 6.5-liter V-12 engine produces 814 horsepower and can reach a redline of 9500 rpm. Two of the powertrain’s three electric motors drive the front wheels, while the third is incorporated into the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which supports the V-12 gas engine on the rear axle. With a combined output of 1001 horsepower, this powertrain is the most powerful Lamborghini ever. Additionally, it surpasses the 986 horsepower of any plug-in hybrid.Ferrari SF90 Stradale from the top spot. From behind the wheel, the Revuelto’s acceleration feels intense, with the electric motors giving an instant surge of power off the line and the V-12 howling as you explore the depths of its power band. Handling is sharper and more agile than in the outgoing Aventador. The Revuelto benefits from a rear-wheel steering system and a torque-vectoring system which gives it more stability in corners and makes it easier to nip apexes. When we get a chance to test the Revuelto on our home turf, we’ll update this story with more driving impressions and test results.

0–60-MPH Times

Although we have not yet tested a Revuelto, based on our initial test drive, we predict that it will reach 60 mph in 2.3 seconds and a maximum speed of 218 mph.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

There are only two seats in the Revuelto because, well, the Italians put 12 cylinders where the backseats would normally go. The Revuelto is no ordinary car. Its cockpit is more space race than automobile. There are four rotors on the steering wheel that control drive modes, and additional buttons activate the turn signals as well as initiate the launch control. Lamborghini says the Revuelto has more headroom and legroom than the Aventador, which shouldn’t be difficult. There’s space behind the seats to fit a single golf bag as well frunk space that can easily accommodate two carry-on luggage bags.

Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

Compared to other modern cars, the Revuelto doesn’t offer many driver-assistance features. But it’s the first Lamborghini sports car to really offer any at all. For more information about the Revuelto’s crash-test results, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety websites.
